A date for every source
Each ranking has a published source date. Roster and injury checks have separate timestamps. A new roster check does not make an older ranking new.
Ranking sources
Three distinct lists
Points uses FantasyPros Yahoo points consensus. 9-Cat uses its category consensus. Dynasty uses Joseph Mamone’s category-focused analyst rankings at Hashtag Basketball, with future draft picks excluded. These lists do not recalculate for custom scoring, category weights, or punt strategies.
Rosters & depth charts
We checked all 30 ESPN team rosters, covering 609 players, on Oct 8, 2026. ESPN roster membership takes precedence when a ranking source lists a different team.
The team depth-chart page separately rechecks ESPN’s team depth and roster feeds every 15 minutes when visited, and shows its own timestamps. Players missing from the current roster are omitted with a note; the original depth numbers are preserved. If a refresh fails, the page labels its saved snapshot. Depth order does not guarantee a start.
Reading the data
How should I read injury status?
Availability comes from ESPN’s injury list and is shown with its fetch time and source update label. “Not on injury list” does not mean confirmed healthy. Estimated return dates can change. Reports older than 24 hours are marked for a recheck. This is a saved snapshot, not a live injury feed.
Check ESPN injury updatesAre player stats projections?
Player reports show 2025-26 regular-season results via Hashtag Basketball. Stats are per game except games played and shooting percentages. Missing NBA seasons, including rookies, stay unavailable. These historical results are not forecasts; projections remain coming soon.
How do eligibility and tiers work?
Position filters include all specific positions listed by the ranking sources, merged across formats. Platform eligibility can differ. Position rank refers to the first recorded position within the 100-player board. Tiers are simple rank bands assigned by Fantasy Sharps, not statistical value breaks.
What checks run before a refresh?
Refreshes require complete coverage of 30 teams and a roster match for every ranked player. The importer rejects future dates, older ranking snapshots, and incomplete sources. Source URLs, fetch times, and file fingerprints are saved alongside CSV exports so changes can be traced.
