Boards group players into tiers so the cliff is visible. A tier is a set of players the board is roughly indifferent between; the gap between tiers is the decision. When a tier is one player from empty, you reach for the tier — otherwise you wait. Tiers come from the source where the source provides them (FantasyPros ECR ships real tier breaks) and from rank clustering otherwise.
NFL boards show season-total fantasy points; NBA boards show per-game fantasy points. NBA numbers are hand-authored estimates. NFL numbers are modelled: a player's points are fitted from where they rank at their position, so the projection always agrees with the ranking. These are editorial models — useful for comparison, not live season forecasts. No board claims live projections.
VOR scores a player against the replacement level at their position — the points of the last starter you would actually start given your league settings. A 12-team league starting 2RB / 2WR / 1TE / 1FLEX sets replacement at roughly RB30 / WR36 / TE24; add a flex or a superflex and replacement moves. VOR is league-adaptive: change your settings and the same board re-ranks itself. Value labels (High / Solid / Fair / Low) are bands on VOR, separate per sport because NBA boards run on a per-game scale. Replacement for NBA boards clamps to the bottom of the position pool because the boards are top-100.
There is no live ADP, no live injury feed, and no real-time projection engine. Consensus ranks, ownership, and ECR spread (σ) on NFL boards are the sourced fields; everything else is editorial. Dates shown are the source's own update dates. Nothing on this site is financial or roster advice.
